Musical Evolution

There is a risk in publishing any post of this nature: 1) It shows my age 2) It displays how much my tastes have NOT kept up with the times. But, it was fun to put together and I need to post something, so here it is the much-anticipated, long-overdue, next post:

I have selected seven categories and have chosen songs for each according to the period in my life with which they correspond. I know I am not making sense right now, but read on. You'll get the idea.

Or maybe you just aren't that old yet. Give it another try in 15 years.

Oh my goodness. ... I laughed so hard. What a great idea. Dan and I are going to have to sit down and do this. My favorite was the last. Little Mermaid, of course!!! Hope you guys can find some time to come by and see us on the south side. I am truly going to miss having my friend a few houses down.

You have excellent musical tastes. I don't know what you're talking about. ;D

When I was in middle school I was terribly in love with B*Witched, which was a girl pop group out of Ireland. And needless to say, very VERY poppy.

I hope that several years from now I can look back on myself and say "I listened to The DECEMBERISTS? What was I smoking?!" =)

If you were geographically closer, I would so buy you a cup of coffee (decaf)and a jukebox(one of those neat new digital ones that connect instantly through the power of the internet to any song you could ever want to listen to).

You rock.

Outloud.

Still in awe,
